1 pair of jeans. I just bought 2 new pairs so I probably should find a second pair to purge.

I give myself full license to purge my 40 Lenten items at any rate I see fit between now and Easter. That said, let mr present items 1-7
1. Blue monogramed sweater (f you moths!)
2. Green sweater (double f you moths!)
3. Blue v-neck top with neck discoloration.
4. White too small / shrunken twin set
5. White cardigan from I swear 9th grade
6. Red double v-neck top
7. Black skirt (how many of these do I own???)
33 more! Yay!

Spring Cleaning?
OK, it's hardly spring... snow days are definitely a major perk of this job, but it is around the corner (or at least far off on the horizon). With this in mind, guess who still has too much crap? this kid.
As if getting rid of facebook weren't enough, I propose that beginning tomorrow I rid myself of one clothing related item every day for 4o days. That's 40 items by Easter. Note that this is all clothing related.
Deep breath...
WTF was I thinking?

In a stroke of brilliance I decided that maybe I should give up facebook (aka my #1 addiction) for lent. I'm not crazy into the church thing, but I can definitely get behind going without something in hopes of self betterment. With this in mind I began taking stock of how much time I log on facebook via the interwebs and the iPhone and when I realized that I was missing the opening ceremonies of the Vancouver Olympic games because I was face-deep in facebook, I knew I was on to something. Not really one to appropriately cope with anxiety and apprehension, rather than wait for midnight to roll around, I deactivated my account this afternoon. I am FULLY prepared to make it 46 days (who knew that each Sunday in the lenten season was NOT counted in the 40 days talley?) without this website... after all, I made it 22 years.
